Exotic pancakes
I know I haven't posted anything on here in a long time, but Friday night something happened that I just had to share with people, if anyone still actually reads my blog. So I'm out at dinner with Stephanie (that'd be my wife for those who aren't in the know) at Red Lobster and she mentioned that her boss told her she's going to have to work on January 14th. Well, after mentioning that she wasn't having anything to do with working on my birthday, she proceeded to explain to me that she was going to get me up in the morning and take me to the Mongolian Pancake House. "Ok", I thought, "I didn't know that Mongolians had their own special type of pancakes". So I questioned, "Mongolian pancakes?" "Yes," was Stephanie's reply, "and it's supposed to be really good. It got great reviews." "Mongolian pancakes...alright, that sounds weird but I suppose it could happen" was my thought. So we decided to look it up to see what exactly a Mongolian pancake would be. Well, we couldn't find any Mongolian Pancake House...but we did find a Magnolia Pancake Haus. So there are no Mongolian pancakes, at least not famous enough to have a restaurant for them in San Antonio, TX; but I will be having some Magnolia pancakes in less than a month. I love my wife, keeps me laughing all the time.
