Who needs teeth?

So I woke up the other day and my tooth felt like I had chipped it. I looked and there was nothing out of the ordinary, but it felt like I had broken it. Well, the following morning it felt fine. There was no pain, no sensitivity, nothing out of the ordinary. The following day I'm sitting at work in between two large groups of Airmen who had just gotten here on their way to Iraq/Afghanistan. It's about 9-10 at night and this is the first chance I've had to eat anything since about 8am, so I quickly dig in to a chicken breast, since I knew that we were going to be busy for the next few hours. Well, I'm chewing on the last bite of my second chicken breast and all of a sudden *CRACK!* There were no bones, no cartilage, nothing that you would expect to hear crunch when you bit down. Then I felt it...my tooth. I managed to find the chip of tooth that came off amongst the chicken that was in my mouth and WOW. I would say that about 15-20% of my tooth that's above the gum was sitting in my hand. I have no clue how I managed to break my tooth eating a boneless chicken breast, but there it was...a nice size chunk of my tooth. Fortunately for me the nerves managed to not be exposed, so that made dealing with the wait until 7am the following morning to be seen by the dentist bearable. So now I have a temporary cap on my tooth until I get home and get a permanent fix to my toothless face.

Oh, man. That would have been a nightmare-come-true for me to have chipped some teeth like that. I've had one too many bad dreams where I've been missing both of my front teeth & it's horrifying! Where's the pic of you after this happened?? We all need to see one!
