Who needs school?

So I got up today at around 2pm and within 30 minutes or so I received a call from my boss at work telling me that I've been slotted to attend ALS in two weeks. Now, since I'm currently taking a chemistry class that poses a bit of a problem seeing as ALS runs from about 7am to 3pm or so Monday through Friday and my class runs 11am to 2pm Monday through Thursday. So basically I was told that I need to drop my class. Needless to say I'm not too pleased with this because I really need this chemistry class, but now since ALS is more important I won't be able to start the 4 classes I need for the PA program until after April, since ALS will run into the next 8-week term and then I'm probably going to deploy again in January. Fine time for all this to happen too, I actually figured out the difference between -ite and -ate and -ous and -ic. Man, some times I wish my squadron was more like my buddy's squadron in Okinawa. They've told him that his school comes first, but here at Pope we pride ourselves on our focus on the mission and making sure the job is taken care of first and foremost before anything else. Ah well, I'm sure I'll get these classes taken eventually...or I'll just go insane.

Other than that I really don't have much going on. I was at work about a week ago or so and was bored out of my mind...so I started writing a book. Well, I don't think I could actually call it a book since it will never become anything more than something for me to do when there's nothing else to do. That, and if I actually try to come up with things to write about I either draw blanks or I see the whole entire story unfold in my mind in what would take about 5 pages to write, and that would make for a really crappy book. Unless I'm writing a children's book which I'm not, because I can't think of anything that would make a for a good children's book that hasn't already been written about. But now I'm rambling and that's because I'm bored out of my mind, it's 6:50am and I've been up for 17 hours now...I'm a bit tired, so I'm done with this post. Oh, enjoy the video at the bottom of my page...I laughed.

You are a crack up. Yeah, your video at the end was great!! Sorry you have to put schooling off - that really stinks. One day soon - it will all be done and over with and you'll be a happy man!!
